Senior Research Fellow in Health Services Research to work in Family Medicine and Primary Care in Singapore
Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) invites applications for a Senior Research Fellow in Health Services Research.
The Family Medicine and Primary Care team is looking for an experienced researcher with a PhD, or equivalent, in health services research or related discipline population health, health-related social sciences, psychology or biostatistics . The successful candidate will be competent with all stages of the research process, from study design, applying for funding, co-ordination, data analysis through to writing for publication.
The post holder will contribute to the development of a research program focusing on the management of common diseases in a non-specialist clinical setting, including asthma and atopic disorders, osteoarthritis, and diabetes. The post holder will also work with clinical colleagues to advise on project design and to teach about those research methods commonly used in Family Medicine for example pragmatic randomized controlled trials, mixed method evaluations, surveys, qualitative methods . There will be opportunities to contribute to the establishment of a Primary Care Research Network and to develop a postgraduate training program in research methods.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing research group in Family Medicine and Primary Care in this new medical school in Singapore. The position is for two years in the first instance.
