Detail information about job Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Machine Learning. Terms and conditions vacancy

We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join Professor van der Schaar’s research group at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). The post is funded by the Oxford Man Institute and is fixed-term for 24 months.

The focus of this project is to develop novel machine learning techniques for finance. You will be responsible for research, methods, algorithms, publications. You will manage your own academic research and administrative activities. You will also implement, verify and validate algorithms, write and edit analytical reports detailing the findings and collaborate in the preparation of scientific reports and journal articles.

You should possess a relevant PhD/DPhil (or be near completion), together with relevant experience. Experience in machine learning or applied statistics is important as is an established track record of research and publications in machine learning or applied statistics concomitant with experience.
