The Faculty of Classics is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to fill the Wykeham Professorship of Ancient (Greek) History.
The successful applicant will have a strong international research profile and broad interests and sympathies in order to contribute to and promote what is a wide and increasingly interdisciplinary research field in Oxford. They will have an excellent teaching record, and will exercise leadership and coordination across all areas of activity in the study and research of ancient Greek history in Oxford and beyond.
