Detail information about job Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network Early Stage Researcher Fellowship. Terms and conditions vacancy

A fellowship position is available until 31 October 2020, tenable at Oxford University, on a project entitled SEPOMO – Spins in Efficient Photovoltaic devices based on Organic Molecules. The successful candidate will be employed by the University on a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network, and will fabricate OSCs using vacuum deposition and explore novel concepts to use triplet-triplet annihilation to improve the performance of OSCs. These devices will be extensively characterised to compare standard and spin-enhanced solar cells in our laboratories in Oxford and in collaboration with our project partners. Furthermore, novel materials developed as part of SEPOMO by our collaborators will be combined with state-of-the-art devices. The postholder will have the opportunity to teach.

Candidates must possess a good degree in a relevant subject plus extensive experience with fabricating and characterising thin film electronic devices, and should have experience of solar cell device physics and characterisation and spin effects in organic semiconductors.

The EC funding for this position provides for a remuneration starting from £31,377 p.a. Actual salary will depend on employer deductions, personal circumstances and the exchange rate applicable to the fellowship. This amount includes an annual living allowance and a mobility allowance (to cover the expenses associated with working in a different country). Under the terms of the EC funding, which aims to promote mobility within the research community, to be eligible for the post you must not have been resident in the UK for more than a total of 12 months in the past 3 years. Persons who have obtained a doctorate or had more than 4 years full-time research experience are ineligible. The start date is subject to discussion.

Please direct enquiries about the role to Moritz Riede ([email protected]).

You will be required to upload a supporting statement, CV and details of two referees as part of your online application.

Only applications received before 12.00 midday on 8 September 2017 can be considered.
