Job Description
Applications are invited from outstanding candidates who have a strong profile in creative writing. The successful candidate will be expected to have an excellent publication record commensurate with career stage, which will complement the Department’s existing strengths. He or she will also be an experienced teacher of creative writing, able to make a significant contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and marking, including research supervision.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate her/his capacity for creative writing of the highest quality. S/he will have a strong record of creative publications commensurate with career stage and with the Department’s internationally excellent profile. S/he will have clear plans for future research including plans to secure funding for future projects. S/he will work closely with the Director of the MA programme in Creative Writing, which launched in 2016-17.
