The Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit (PC-CTU) is based within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford. The Unit is involved in the design, conduct and analysis of investigator led multi-centred randomised trials, in collaboration with NHS Trusts in both primary and secondary care, to address health issues of major national and international importance.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Clinical Data Manager to work within our data management team to ensure the accuracy, completeness and consistency of data collected by the Clinical Trials Unit. You will have a first degree in IT or life sciences, be experienced in all aspects of clinical research data management from study start up to database lock and possess excellent communication skills. Sound knowledge of how to handle confidential data according to the applicable regulations will also be essential.
The role will require a team player with proven accuracy and numeracy skills, excellent IT skills and the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload with minimal supervision. If you have a flexible and positive attitude this will provide an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly multi-disciplinary team delivery high quality research.
