Faculty of Health and Wellbeing
Full time (part time applicants welcome)
We are looking for an innovative dietitian with some experience in education to develop our dietetics education offer - adding to our successful portfolio of pre-registration and post-registration health courses.
You will lead the development of a brand new pre-registration MSc in Dietetics to meet the approval standards of the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the requirements of the British Dietetic Association (BDA). Working alongside nutritionists and sport scientists you will contribute to the delivery of health nutrition education on our BSc Sport and Exercise Science and will also contribute to the development and delivery of post-registration education.
The ability to build effective relationships with professional bodies, employers and other external partners will be vital in this role. Creativity will also be an essential quality, both in the development of an attractive and engaging programme and your teaching delivery.
Although you'll be based in the Department of Allied Health Professions we encourage cross department and faculty working and there will be opportunities to work and research alongside staff from across the health and social care professions, sport and nutrition.
For non-EU applicants, we may be able to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this job if required.
