Location: University Park

Salary: £38,183 to £46,924 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The Faculty of Science at the University of Nottingham contains seven Science Schools which conduct world-leading research in disciplines as diverse as crop science, astronomy and drug discovery. Collectively, the Faculty supports hundreds of academic staff, researchers and students who publish their findings in some of the world’s most prestigious journals.

Following on from our success in the REF2014 process, we are now seeking to employ a REF2021 Manager within the Faculty.

The Faculty of Science REF Manager will support the REF coordinators in the various Schools in the Faculty of Science in the management and delivery of the University’s REF preparations for REF 2021.

The role holder will work with academic staff, School-based REF co-ordinators, staff across Research, Enterprise & Graduate Services and with other Professional Service departments to manage the identification, development and preparation of REF reports, outputs and impact case studies and statements. They will be the contact point for the Faculty of Science REF requirements, providing advice and guidance on outputs and impact elements of REF, and supporting the REF coordinators in the Schools in the Faculty of Science in the preparation for REF at the University. 

This full-time post is fixed-term for a period of 2 years.
