Detail information about job Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Organisation Studies. Terms and conditions vacancy

We are seeking to appoint new colleagues as Lecturers in Organisation Studies to join the Strategy and Organisation Division in the School of Management.  We welcome applications from potential colleagues working in all associated subject areas and adjacent disciplines.

The University of Bath School of Management is positioned among the top UK Business Schools and was ranked 8th in the UK for business and management studies – including 6th in the UK for world class and internationally-leading publications – in the results of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework. We are ranked 2nd in the UK for Business and Management in both the Guardian and Complete University Guides 2018 and third for Business Studies in the 2017 Times University guide.

You would be joining a group of colleagues publishing in leading journals, such as the Academy of Management Review, the Journal of Management Studies, the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science and Organization Studies, as well as Human Resource Management, the Human Resource Management Journal, and Human Relations. Colleagues are active contributors to the academic community: editing journals, taking up leadership positions in professional bodies, organising workshops and conferences and supporting and training new researchers. You should share our passion for research and education as well as our desire to influence practice. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our range of highly rated undergraduate and postgraduate offerings, including the Bath MBA and specialised MSc programmes such as the MSc in Human Resource Management and Consulting and the MSc in International Management.

The division is home to four research centres that support outstanding international research and scholarship, the interdisciplinary Research Centre for Strategic Change and Leadership (CSCL), the Future of Work Research Centre, the International Centre for Higher Education Management, and the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. We support and encourage interaction between academics, scholarly practitioners and doctoral students and offer a wide range of activities, including seminars, theory master classes and academic writing workshops.

Our superb location in the UNESCO-designated World Heritage City of Bath offers an outstanding quality of life.  Bath is located 100 miles west of London and is easily accessible by air, road and rail.
