Detail information about job Assistant Project Coordinator, Executive Programmes. Terms and conditions vacancy

The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) builds strategic leadership capacity to tackle global challenges. We do this through the delivery of leadership programmes and collaborative projects with business and policy leaders around the world, informed by research from the University of Cambridge and partners globally.

CISL's Executive Programmes portfolio includes executive seminars, accredited programmes and bespoke programmes for major clients. Our flagship open programme is The Prince of Wales's Business & Sustainability Programme.  We develop customised programmes for leading businesses, public sector institutions and multilateral organisations to enable them to meet their sustainability objectives. Our accredited programmes include our Masters in Sustainability Leadership and Postgraduate Certificates in Sustainable Business and Sustainable Value Chains.  Many of these programmes involve face-to-face events which require significant administrative support.

We are looking for a proactive individual with strong administrative skills and a positive, co-operative and flexible approach to provide comprehensive support to our Executive Programmes team in the delivery of its portfolio. Your role will be to support Project Managers and Coordinators in the preparation for and delivery of events and in the evaluation and financial administration of projects. You will also be responsible for supporting the marketing and corporate engagement activities of the team through the maintenance of an extensive and growing contact database.

Educated to at least 'A' level standard with a high level of computer literacy covering all aspects of Microsoft Office, you must be able to multi-task, deal calmly with difficult or pressured situations and prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.  You will be friendly and helpful with the ability to interact positively with a wide range of people.  It is important that you can communicate confidently and effectively and are able to relay information accurately.  With a systematic approach to work assignments, you will be meticulous about attention to detail with the flexibility to reorganise your workload at short notice to accommodate any changing priorities within the team or department.  Experience of working with contact databases would be useful as would an interest in and commitment to social and environmental issues.
