This post is advertised in conjunction with R170364 (Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy Practice). Please note that there is one post available; an appointment will be made at either Lecturer or Teaching Fellow. Your application will only be considered for the post that you have applied for.
Applications are invited for a new post as a Teaching Fellow in Clinical Pharmacy Practice. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to teaching, learning and assessment in the area of clinical pharmacy and health assessment. This is an opportunity to join one of the leading Pharmacy Schools in the UK and applicants must demonstrate an enthusiasm for education and a commitment to the development of Pharmacy as a profession. Aston Pharmacy School is a leading provider of advanced clinical pharmacy training and research.
Applicants for a Teaching Fellowship must have a good first degree in pharmacy, experience as a pharmacist independent prescriber and experience in direct patient health assessment. This post will suit pharmacists with Advanced Clinical Practitioner status who wish to maintain their clinical skills in an acute setting whilst employed by the University. The successful applicant will be expected to take a leading role in the development of teaching advanced health assessment and will be encouraged to contribute to scholarship and research within the discipline.
