Applications are invited for a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Childhood. We welcome applications from individuals who have an established research profile in the study of Childhood. Working in the Department of Social Work, Education and Community Wellbeing, you will be a member of a vibrant academic community that is multi-disciplinary, with social justice at the heart of what we do. You will work flexibly as part of a team, to contribute to teaching, research, enterprise and engagement. Your role may involve Programme Leadership within the department, and teaching in the area of Childhood, but you may be required to undertake teaching and leadership roles across the department.

You must hold a first degree and, ideally, you will be either qualified (SL) or soon to be qualified (L) to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline and have subject expertise with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy.

Proven ability to deliver practice led teaching or high quality research led teaching and a publication profile are essential.
