The Directorate of Academic Support’s overarching aim is to deliver excellent academic support in collaboration with the University community and University partners. It has over 200 staff covering a variety of customer facing, professional, technical and academic roles.
Numeracy skills, particularly the ability to interpret data are becoming increasingly important and highly sought after by employers. We believe that all our students should have the opportunity to develop their numeracy skills, supported by passionate tutors and excellent learning resources.
If you share our beliefs and are passionate about inspiring and motivating students in HE then come and be part of our Learning and Skills Development team in the University of Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to develop numeracy skill support within our wider academic skills framework.
We are looking for someone who can champion numeracy skills, is excited by taking on a new challenge, and can inspire our students to achieve great things.
If you can use your experience to create new and effective ways of engaging students in acquiring numeracy skills; want a new challenge and share our vision we want to hear from you.
If successful you will be based in Wolverhampton, work a 37 hours per week and able to travel to our other Campuses.
