Do you have the experience and motivation to help shape the delivery of IT in one of the world’s top universities?

IT Services seeks to appoint a Head of Platform Services within the Infrastructure Services group. The Head of Platform Services is a senior role, arising from a recent restructuring of Infrastructure Services, and reports to the Director of Infrastructure Services. As a successful applicant you will be responsible for leading a group supporting platforms and delivering a wide range of services to staff and students throughout the University. Our platforms provide virtual infrastructure, enterprise databases, identity and access management, Unix/Linux and Microsoft technologies, and endpoint device management. We enable, or directly deliver services, to support education, research and administration.

We would welcome your application if you will have an outstanding record as a senior manager in delivering and managing IT services, including budgetary oversight. To be successful, you will have significant experience of over-seeing technical platform change and delivery; together with the ability to work effectively with staff in all areas of the University. A proven ability to lead and develop a large group of highly capable staff is essential.
