Lecturer (maternity leave cover)

The salary will be paid at Grade 7 £41,212 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

Fixed term contract for 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on the return of the substantive post holder

This is a Full-time post, but Part-time or job sharing will be considered.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Nicotine Research Group at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience to cover a period of maternity leave. The Nicotine Research Group is led by Professor Ann McNeill and has a high profile in the areas of tobacco control, harm reduction and smoking and mental health.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, postdoctoral experience and a track record of high-impact publications. While the main focus of the role is on research, some teaching and student supervision will also be expected.
