Project Detail:HRM professionals are employed as experts in optimizing workforce performance. This expertise includes resourcing; people behaviour and well-being; job design; employee relations; diversity; performance and reward; and learning and development.

Technology is impacting upon HRM work and challenging professional values. Notably, those who advocate the use of digital technology for HR/people analytics often emphasize the shareholder as principal stakeholder, challenging HRM values that regard workers as key organisational stakeholders.

This PhD project aims to consider the implications for HRM of new technologies that enable HR/people analytics. It will involve collecting primarily qualitative data from organisational settings where HRM professionals work with technologies that generate people analytics data.
