Are you an experienced Human Resources professional looking to expand your experience working in HR systems? Are you keen to be part of a team supporting newly implemented HR business systems and processes?

In this 2 year, full-time post, your principal responsibilities will be to develop and ensure relevant business process and training provision for the HR Information System, manage communications to all interested parties and oversee the work of the HRIS Data Service team. The principal users of the University’s HR related systems are based in the academic departments and the central administration teams, as well as job applicants from across the world.

The provision of a responsive high quality customer service to HRIS users is a team effort and collaborative working will be a key feature of this role. You will work closely with colleagues within the HRIS Support Centre, all system users, IT Services colleagues, system suppliers, internal HR systems project teams and central business teams. You will be required to manage user expectations, be sensitive to the needs of users as well as the wider organisation, possess the political acumen to negotiate successfully changes to process and procedure, be able to think creatively and in the support of HRIS users develop and introduce innovative approaches and solutions as appropriate to meet their needs.

You will have proven experience of working with and developing HR business processes supported by specialist IT, and resolving associated problems. You will bring HR expertise and operational experience to this role, demonstrated by significant professional HR management experience and/or CIPD accreditation Assoc. CIPD or above. You are educated to degree level or equivalent.
