Are you interested in working for a world top 100 University? We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) for a highly organised and efficient project administrator looking to use their skills and gain new ones working on two HEDS health-related research projects. The projects (one funded by the Health Foundation and the other funded by the Department of Health through the Policy Research Unit in Economic Evaluation of Health and Care Interventions) aim to measure and value the quality of mental healthcare provision and validate a new measure called Recovering Quality of Life (ReQoL), respectively.

You will provide administrative support for project activities, for example, setting up patient recruitment for two different surveys, two focus groups and a validation study, and ensuring that the projects meet the required objectives which are delivered within agreed timescales. You will be responsible for setting up the administrative systems, maintaining regular communications with staff and partner organisations, and for sharing information within the team and with wider partners. You will work closely with a senior research fellow, a research fellow and other HEDS staff on the projects to co-ordinate delivery within the agreed timescales. You will provide administrative support to members of the project teams to ensure the implementation of all aspects of the projects, including recruiting sites, supporting participant recruitment and reporting.

You should have significant project-administration experience, preferably in a research/academic/ evaluation environment, extensive experience of report preparation and budget monitoring. You will have 5 GCE passes of grade C or above (including English and mathematics). An undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification would be desirable.

You will join the HEDS professional services team within the largest academic Section in ScHARR. We are a large and diverse Section which has a reputation for novel, research-led teaching. This is a well-connected team with world-leading reputations in the field of health economic research.
