The Faculty of Creative Arts, Technologies and Science invites applications to the post of Professor in our School of Life Sciences. Committed to developing excellence in teaching and research, the School offers tenure for an individual with an international research profile in Pharmacy, who can deliver on our ambition to launch a MPharm degree and research in this subject area.
The successful candidate will be a talented teacher and innovative scholar experienced in leading course development. We are looking for a productive and cooperative colleague, who will bring new perspectives to teaching theory, practice and research. They will evidence a track record externally funded research projects and enterprise activity.
The ability to recruit and supervise postgraduate research students and to further develop course portfolio and teaching in the School of Life Sciences is essential.
The successful candidate will also make a strong contribution to the development of our Institute for Biomedical and Environmental Science and Technology (iBEST). They will facilitate growth and development of its grant income, improve the quality of its research outputs and maximise impact for its associated Units of Assessment in future Research Excellence assessments.
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
