If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you! This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Kent, lead institution of The Kent and Medway Collaborative Outreach Programme (KaMCOP).

In this fixed term role as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer you will be responsible for supporting the KaMCOP consortium in building evidence of their work across the KaMCOP, specifically targeted outreach work with individual students in schools and colleges using The Higher Education Access Tracker (HEAT) service. The HEAT service is instrumental in the provision of quantitative evaluation.

You will be based within the HEAT team but dedicated to the consortium and will be responsible for delivering a monitoring and evaluation plan to assist partners in monitoring the achievement of programme milestones and targets.

As a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer you will:

• Co-ordinate and implement monitoring and evaluation plan for the consortium and lead and steer individual consortium members in their approach to evaluation.
• Provide advisory support to partners to systematise the collection, collation and analysis of data on outreach activities for the programme.
• Liaise with delivery partners to ensure data input consistency across the KaMCOP consortium.

To succeed in this role you will have:

• BA Honours degree or equivalent.
• Experience of working on complex projects.
• Experience of researching paper based and electronic communications for a wide audience.
• Experience of complex data analysis and reporting.

The Higher Education Access Tracker (HEAT) Service is a monitoring and evaluation service for subscribing Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Underpinning the service is a collaborative database that provides an online repository for members’ progression data. The Service provides a range of analyses and reports that enable members to track engagement in outreach activities and build evidence of future student progression to prove the value of outreach.
