Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in applied health research? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?
A Research Fellow is required to join an active group of researchers, lecturers, PhD students and practitioners led by Professor Carl Thompson. You will help strengthen the development of applied health research in the School and our contribution to the NIHR CLAHRC for Yorkshire and Humber and its work in implementation science and safety.
You will be a key contributor in helping construct research grant applications to secure income for research arising from Professor Thompson’s current work in implementing health technologies and improving the use of research evidence data and information by NHS decision makers at all levels.
You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a subject area relating to health services research/applied health research/healthcare professional decision making/implementation science. You will also have post-doctoral experience working in applied health research.
