SportBU (Talbot Campus) is seeking an enthusiastic and pro-active team player to organise and manage our growing SportBU Kids programme which comprises of Sports Club, birthday parties and Super Saturdays. The post holder will also work closely with the Relays team to improve and increase our presence in the local community and assist in creating and developing existing and new relationships with local schools and partners. In addition to this, you will be working closely with teams in M&C to deliver sporting based sessions as part of their school liaison programmes.
Skilled and experienced in sports coaching and working with young children you will have an understanding of the volunteer sector and its link to employability. You should possess strong interpersonal skills and easily be able to build rapport with people at all levels, (especially children).
The right candidate will be proactive, organised and motivated with the ability to use their initiative to get things done. Passion, experience and knowledge for sport, coaching and volunteering is essential.
Working hours will include regular Saturdays.
