The University of Greenwich is committed to the continued development of teaching in Psychology which is located in the Department of Psychology, Social Work and Counselling in the Faculty of Education and Health.

The Department is seeking a full-time Lecturer in Psychology with a commitment to excellence in teaching and building upon our evidenced strengths in this area.

We welcome applicants with an interest in the area of Sport and Exercise Psychology and who are Chartered members of the British Psychological Society (BPS). You will be expected to have knowledge on the different philosophical approaches to delivery, psychological skills, techniques and interventions relevant to the applied sport and exercise psychology field and will contribute to teaching and administrative duties associated with courses that explore social and cognitive processes in performance, the psychology of physical activity, exercise and wellbeing and applied sport and exercise psychology. There is an active and strong research base in the Department. Psychology performed well in the recent REF. We therefore expect to recruit an individual with a strong and developing track record of research.
