If you are an experienced PA who is pro-active, self-motivated, enjoys being busy and can rise to a challenge this could be the post for you.

The Oxford Robotics Institute in the Department of Engineering Science (Central Oxford) is looking for an experienced full-time PA to the Professor of Information Engineering. You will provide excellent PA support to Professor Paul Newman as well as general administration to the wider institute and department. Your responsibilities will include diary management, providing a strong customer service, handing enquiries, coordinating multi-party meetings between internal and external stakeholders, and organising travel and events. You will also supervise the Information Engineering Administrative Assistant.

You should have experience of managing administrative processes and a strong professional approach. You should also have experience of diary management including experience of working on confidential matters. You will need the ability to work on your own initiative and resolve situations, as well as part of a team. You will need strong communication skills as well as a good attention to detail and the ability to deal with a very busy and varied workload. Excellent IT skills are essential as is a positive and proactive manner.
