This post presents an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our dedicated Data and Analytics Team within the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (ODAR). Working alongside our Fundraising and Alumni and Supporter Engagement Teams, the Data and Analytics Team provide operational support and data driven strategic insight to inform and support the various activity across ODAR.

We are looking for a logical, accurate, and analytical individual who thrives when dealing with data and databases. You will have proven experience of using and interrogating relational databases and datasets; importing and exporting data; developing reports to provide business or customer insight using a range of software tools and analytics techniques; and analysing data to identify trends; assessing the effectiveness of activity and providing practical solutions to data consistency, security, and process.

This is a varied and important role which will be key to developing reports and analysing data that will deliver information to guide and support a variety of fundraising and engagement activities across our constituent community. You will have excellent time management skills and will be able to work independently, yet an effective team player who takes a flexible approach to their work. 

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations launched its first major fundraising campaign for a new Centre for Cancer Immunology in 2015. The £25m Centre will be the first of its kind in the UK and among an elite group world-wide. Your data focused role within ODAR will help support both fundraising and engagement (personalised communications, alumni and supporter events, volunteering) activities, maintaining a database of over 250,000 alumni and supporters.
