This post is a maternity cover position and will run until the 27th July 2018.  We are looking for a productive and collaborative member of staff to work in a busy and thriving Fashion department, where they will be expected to run workshops and support students and staff in the development of knitwear and jersey garments.

The post holder should be knowledgeable in the technical production of knitwear, fully fashioned and CMT skills as well as being able to offer technical support to the production of garments utilising industrial, domestic and hand knit techniques. The Post holder will also need to be familiar with specialisms such as intarsia, and weave construction techniques and be willing to a working understanding of both modern and traditional techniques in knitwear production is desirable skills as well as being able to offer technical support to the production of garments utilising industrial, domestic and hand knit techniques.
