The salary will be in line with pay for clinical academic doctors in training (2016 contract, subject to the transitional pay arrangements) and our assessment will be based on the date that you reached ST3 on your training programme.
The University of Bristol and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) are appointing to a NIHR Clinical Lecturer (CL) post in Primary Care to be taken up from 1st November 2017.
The post will be in the Centre for Academic Primary Care (CAPC), one of the leading centres in the UK which form the NIHR School for Primary Care Research. CAPC is an integral part of the department of Population Health Sciences within Bristol Medical School, an internationally recognised centre of excellence for research and teaching in population health sciences.
This post will provide up to four years post-doctoral training for a post-CCT General Practitioner seeking to consolidate their career in academic primary care and begin to establish themselves as an independent researcher in academic primary care, with a focus on urgent care. The post is available full time or part time.
