The salary will be paid at Grade 7, £40,523 to £48,327 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.
This post will be indefinite.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in the emerging area of Analytical Toxicology. The increasing research profile of the Analytical & Environmental Sciences (AES) Division in the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London will be enhanced with the appointment of a candidate with experience in Analytical Toxicology or the Analytical Sciences. The AES division has world leading research groups which include analytical toxicology, forensic toxicology, and environmental toxicology. We are looking for an exceptional individual who can make a significant contribution to any one of these areas and will also be instrumental in carrying the research forward into new areas.
The Analytical and Environmental Sciences division holds a Bronze Athena SWAN award and are committed to embedding the Equality Challenge Unit's Athena SWAN principles and supporting women in science. We particularly welcome female applicants to enrich the diversity of the Division at this level.
The successful candidate will:
- Take a lead role in the planning, organisation and delivery of the MSc Analytical Toxicology.
- Introduce innovative teaching in-line with the King’s Strategic Vision 2029 and the King’s Academy of Educators.
- Contribute to the development of innovative on-line courses and the use of technology enhanced learning within the Division.
- Undertake research in the field of Analytical Toxicology which complements, contributes to and enhances the existing science research portfolio and attracts funding from external bodies.
