This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in the highly rated School of Medicine.

You will be a member of the integrated biomedical team responsible for the delivery of the scientific and academic components of the MBChB Undergraduate medical course, and will gain experience in teaching in a variety of settings including small groups and large lectures.

You will establish and develop an active internationally-recognised research group, with the aim of being eligible for participation in the next University Research Excellence Framework exercise. This will include supervising postgraduate and undergraduate research students as well as postdoctoral scientists.

You will have a degree or equivalent, plus a PhD in an appropriate bioscience discipline. You will have evidence of the potential to develop research that links to or complements existing research strengths at Keele. Essential skills include excellent communication skills, team-working skills, organisational and interpersonal skills.
