Imperial College London is the UK’s only science-focussed university and one of the top 10 universities in the world. The Events Officer, Institutional Events delivers a portfolio of high-profile and reputationally important events as part of the central institutional events team which sits within the Advancement Division.
Key responsibilities include:
- End to end planning and delivery of high profile events ranging from small dinners or lectures to building openings or state visits
- Development and continual improvement of event processes including the provision of best practice advice to colleagues across College
- Liaison with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure VIP engagement and stewardship opportunities at events are maximised
- Successful relationship management with key contacts to ensure smooth delivery of events
To excel in this role, you will be an event planner/organiser with experience in high-profile events. You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working alongside senior leadership. Committed to outstanding customer service, you will be willing to go above and beyond to achieve and exceed event objectives.
Drawing on your experience as an Events Officer, Events Organiser, VIP Events Officer, Events Planner or Events Coordinator, this role will see you working across College and across all levels to create memorable events that are the focus for the College’s engagement and advancement activity with key supporters, friends and partners.

This is a full time-open ended contract, not normally less than 35 hours per week
