Detail information about job Business Partnerships Manager (Productivity). Terms and conditions vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) in the role of Business Partnerships Manager (Productivity).

Productivity is vital. The UK currently trails the top countries in the world in terms of productivity. Since the 2008 recession, productivity has stagnated within UK.  Whilst there are many avenues to improving productivity there is compelling evidence that a key contributing factor is the inability of organisations to harness the full potential and capability of the workforce.

The Business Engagement Team within LUMS undertakes outstanding work in the fields of executive education, customised programmes and business support.  Our programmes support North West Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs), and corporates delivering a range of activities that include utilising the resources of the Management School student base to work on the business support needs of our clients.

You will work under the direction of the Head of Business Engagement (International), with academic guidance from the LUMS Director of the Centre for Productivity and Efficiency, to build and maintain relationships with external organisations and internal stakeholders and develop and support strategic productivity initiatives in the region, nationally and internationally.

You will be responsible for leading, developing and delivering the Productivity theme of the University knowledge exchange strategy within the Management School and more widely across the University with a primary focus upon income generation and the demonstration of impact from professional training, economic regeneration, collaborative and contract research and student based partnerships.

This is a challenging role for an enthusiastic and driven professional with the experience to lead and develop the productivity agenda and a proven ability to develop, win and deliver collaborative and knowledge exchange projects with business.

For an informal discussion of the role, please contact the Head of Business Partnerships (International), Helen Fogg.  ([email protected])

We welcome applications from people in all diversity groups.
