UCC wishes to appoint an experienced academic to the role of Lecturer in MSc Clinical Pharmacy and Course Director (0.6 FTE). Reporting to the Head of the School of Pharmacy, the Lecturer and Course Director will have responsibility for the delivery of the MSc in Clinical Pharmacy. The successful candidate will have a primary degree in Pharmacy, a PhD, and be registered or be eligible for registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland. They will also hold a postgraduate qualification in teaching and learning.
The academic staff member shall teach and examine, undertake administrative duties, and carry out other duties appropriate to the post under the general direction of the Head of the School of Pharmacy. This post will enhance the current Clinical Practice group within the School, and the post holder will contribute significantly to the development of Clinical Practice in terms of teaching and research nationally and internationally.
The successful candidate of this position will be expected to promote the School of Pharmacy (UCC) and its postgraduate programmes. They will also be expected to engage in internationally competitive research in the field.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Below the Bar Salary Scale: pro-rata €32,821 - €57,967.
