There are two posts available for this role.

Warwick Business School (‘WBS’) is the UK’s top provider of finance and business research and education with a mission to establish itself as the leading university-based business school in Europe. In October 2014 WBS opened a London base at The Shard, one of London’s most iconic buildings.

We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Programme Manager with experience of providing front line support to students and managing and organising course delivery. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in establishing our taught programmes at the Shard and ensuring an excellent service experience for students.

In making this appointment the Dean of WBS is seeking a Deputy Programme Manager who, among other qualities, can demonstrate:

  • Significant appropriate programme management and student support experience gained within a complex organisation structure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to handle student enquiries and concerns in a friendly, calm and approachable manner.
  • Proven organisational skills, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Empathy with customers’ needs and who always puts their customers first.
  • The ability to work self-sufficiently and within a team. Previous experience working in off-site position would be advantageous.

In this post you will be involved in varied and interesting taught programmes, and will have the opportunity to have hands-on responsibility managing and supporting the taught programmes at WBS London base.

This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career with a dynamic and innovative organisation, and to contribute to the overall customer and student experience at the University.

The post will be based at The Shard, which is at the heart of the London Bridge Quarter neighbourhood, one of London’s most vibrant districts. However the successful candidate will be required to regularly travel to the University in the Midlands. The successful candidate will also be required to work evenings and shifts, including weekends, to meet customer needs.

Previous applicants need not apply.

Closing date: 11 September 2017
