Professional Services Level 2b (£27,190 - £30,000)

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a growing and developing team, to support the management of key partnerships and the delivery of crucial projects and events across academic partnerships and societal engagement, in addition to employing their organisational skills to perform important administrative tasks efficiently under the direction of the team’s Executive Assistant.

This role would suit a keen and ambitious administrative professional looking to develop their career and take on new challenges, including supporting project delivery and coordinating small to large-scale events. We are looking for a positive and supportive team player who is highly organised and able to balance varied tasks and meet competing deadlines.

As part of the College’s mission to engage society with our cutting-edge work, the Academic Partnerships office was established to manage partnerships with outstanding partners (including the Francis Crick Institute, a recently established and world-leading biomedical research institute), and to engage schools, local communities, patients and the public with Imperial’s work.

Key tasks the post holder will perform will include implementing administrative processes to support the breadth of the Academic Partnerships team’s activities; organising, supporting and facilitating events and programmes to promote and encourage engagement with important partnerships (notably the Francis Crick Institute); and supporting societal engagement projects by developing communications materials, corresponding with staff and students, organising events and carrying out other project relevant tasks as appropriate.

Imperial Managers lead by example.

Interested candidates should contact Emelia Gobbe, Executive Assistant to the Associate Provost (Academic Partnerships), to discuss the role: [email protected]

We usually appoint at the start of the salary scale. Our preferred method of application is online via our website www3.imperial.ac.uk/employment. Please complete and upload an application form as directed. The reference number for this post is SS 2017 230 HY.

Closing date: Monday 11 September (midnight BST)

Interview date: Wednesday 20 September

Committed to equality and valuing diversity. We are also an Athena Bronze SWAN Award winner, a Stonewall Diversity Champion and a Two Ticks Employer.
