Are you an early career researcher looking for your first challenge? Do you have a background in psychosocial applied health research? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?
As an enthusiastic, talented and motivated early career researcher you will support the work of Professor Galina Velikova and Dr Penny Wright on several on going projects funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research (YCR) and Medical Research Council (MRC):
- ePRIME (electronic Patient self-Reported outcomes to Improve cancer Management and patient Experiences) explores an innovative approach for online follow-up after treatment of gynaecological cancer patients using electronic Patient Reported Outcome Measures;
- DECIDE project focuses on development and evaluation of self-reported questionnaire for carers of people with dementia.
You will be working in a research team comprising academics and clinicians with expertise in oncology, patient reported outcomes, health informatics, health economics and health psychology.
You will be able to manage your time effectively, with excellent communication and analytical skills to contribute to the dissemination of results.
