The School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work & Social Sciences (School of Health and Society as of 1 September 2017) aims for excellence in both teaching and research. Academic staff have a role that integrates these two disciplines and delivers research informed teaching and practice.
The Midwifery research group works across disciplines but is most closely associated with the Knowledge, Health and Place Research group of the School.
The Midwifery Neonatal Specialist team have recently won a substantial commercial contract to undertake a maternal observational study into infant skin integrity in the nappy/diaper area from birth to eight weeks of age.
To help us with this project, we wish to appoint a Research Project Manager who has project management and administration experience, a high attention to detail, and a creative approach to problem solving, and will regularly demonstrate excellent communication and liaison skills while displaying efficiency and organisation in managing multiple priorities.
