Fixed term contract for 12 months.
Applications are invited from motivated scientists to work on a translational clinical project that aims at the identification of the main determinants of circadian rhythms disruption in cancer patients, with a complementary study investigating the relations between two methods of circadian rhythm measurements in human subjects.
Demonstrated excellence in technology and human chronobiology research will be the main criterion for appointment, as evidenced by past experience and achievements and/or peer-reviewed publications. You will have an engineering science diploma, or equivalent. Prior experience in e-Health technologies, time series analyses and multidisciplinary collaborative work in this field are mandatory. Good knowledge of statistics are required.
Where you have not yet been awarded your PhD, any offer made to you will be an under-appointment to the post of Research Assistant at a salary of £28,936 per annum. Once your PhD has been awarded and you have evidenced this, you will be appointed to the substantive post of Research Fellow at a salary within the range shown above.
