This is an exciting opportunity to work with students with a range of psychological and emotional difficulties as part of the Counselling Team in the Student Wellbeing Service. You will be working as part of an new evening service which is to run on a Monday and Wednesday, between 5 and 9pm (academic term-time only), predominately offering assessment appointments to students and delivering time focused (up to 6 sessions) therapeutic interventions.
You must possess a recognised first level degree or equivalent and a relevant professional therapy qualification. A proven record of delivering telephone and online support to young people would be an advantage along with experience of working within a higher education setting.
This post is 8 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum.
