The salary will be paid at Grade 8, £49, 772- £57,674 per annum pro rata, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance pro rata.
This post will be Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2022
This is a Part-time – 50% full time equivalent
We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow with a background in psychiatry and neuroscience to join the Department of Psychological Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN).
The appointee will join one of the world’s leading academic groups carrying out research on Translational Psychiatry.
The successful candidate will carry out research and teaching within the Department of Psychological Medicine. The appointee will be encouraged to develop their own area of research interest, and will also have the opportunity to join projects that are part of the ongoing research programme in the department.
Previous experience should include recruitment for research studies, assessment of patients with mood disorders and analysis of neuroimaging and cognitive data.
The person appointed will be able to work well within a team, be organised and methodical and to work independently seeking help appropriately when required. They will have a flexible approach to working arrangements.
The successful candidate will collaborate on other grant applications for funding so we are looking for a candidate who has experience with research funding applications
This position is available immediately, with the exact start date negotiable.
