Old Road Campus Research Building, Headington, Oxford
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician for the “Metabolism and Organelle Biogenesis” group. The group processes a large number of human medically-relevant proteins in recombinant expression systems and sets up purified proteins for structural and biophysical studies.
You will have attained a good standard of education in biology or chemistry or equivalent, experience in recombinant protein expression and purification, and excellent communication and organisation skills.
In your role as Laboratory Technician, you will work closely with a team of researchers. You will report to and be supervised by the Principal Investigator and a senior researcher. You should be highly motivated and able to communicate and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Training and support will be provided, as necessary.
The Laboratory Technician post is full-time, fixed-term until 30 June 2020.
