An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Operational Excellence team for a Coach with operational excellence, and LEAN experience. Based at our South Kensington Campus, the post holder will provide coaching, facilitation and training to support the development of operationally excellent support services and processes across the College.
You will be embedded in the OE team but work with stakeholders across the college community. Key responsibilities will include:
- Support projects and initiatives to deploy a broad range of Operational Excellence methods through training, coaching and facilitating improvement events.
- Design and facilitate cross-function improvement projects
- Develop the OE toolkit to capture and promote agreed techniques and processes
- Support the development of the Operational Excellence Community of Practice
Applicants will be highly organised with proven experience of coaching members of staff in Operational Excellence principles and behaviours and mentor team members in applying Operational Excellence tools and techniques. A proven working knowledge of Operational Excellence / LEAN / Six Sigma implementation and experienced in aspects of change projects; analysis, eliciting and documenting requirements and processes, design and implementation.
Applicants will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to liaise effectively with stakeholders across the College. They will also have strong written and oral communication skills. This is a new role in a growing team and the post holder will need to be flexible and respond to opportunities and challenges as they arise.
