De Montfort University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Film and Television Production to support growth in the area of BSc Media Production within the Leicester Media School.
The successful applicant will have the skills to lead and deliver production-based modules with a focus on the technical skills and storytelling abilities required by the film and television industries. Experience of television or film production is essential, as is a commitment to providing outstanding teaching.
Key duties will include:• Delivering core curricula.• Developing and enhancing industry links.• Refining graduate employability.• Developing innovative cutting edge curricula.• Assisting in developing an international reputation and enhancing international recruitment.The university is keen to support this staff member’s ongoing professional standing through the school’s industry liaison network.
