In order to achieve this we are investing in our professional services administration staff, building a team that will support the growth of the School, whilst providing an excellent experience for our students. Therefore the University of Leicester, School of Business is looking to recruit a Business Development Co-ordinator. The Business Development Co-ordinator plays a key role in supporting the School’s business development function, driving new revenue streams and providing administrative support to the Business Development Manager.

Main responsibilities in this role will include supporting the Business Development Manager by researching potential events and partners for the School that will improve the School’s profile and have the potential to lead to new partnerships. The post-holder will also be expected to maintain a database to analyse data in order to identify key themes.

You will have good IT skills, particularly in MS Office and administrative experience within a busy environment. Excellent customer service experience, oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to deal with a range of tasks and deadlines. Experience of managing records through a database application and/or experience of leading/organising events with external clients/visitors would be desirable.
