The Head of Strategic Programmes and Governance is an essential appointment and provides the opportunity to make a strategic and operational contribution to the success of the Estates Department at the University of Warwick. You will be responsible for leading strategic development, key improvement projects, change initiatives, improving operational and governance procedures, whilst leading a large administration function. It is an exciting time for Warwick as reaches its 51st year as it embarks on a significant ten year capital investment programme, in the order of £1 billion. The University has bold ambitions and a desire to grow and develop to provide world class modern educational and research environments for students to gain a positive foundation and enable them to become global citizens of the future. This is a new role which requires drive, enthusiasm, commitment and tenacity. You will be an experienced senior manager with a broad knowledge of the University sector (or similar) and its processes. Naturally, you will have experience and be an expert in operational and governance procedures, possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to influence senior stakeholders, lead a large team and have a strong track record in strategic development and implementing new strategies.
