Registry Services

As Registry Services, we have overall responsibility for the student record, as well as the maintenance and continuous improvement of the systems that store it. We work with faculties and professional services departments to support processes relating to the entire student journey, from application to award and graduation, and act as a source of advice on how those processes can be improved through the use and development of our student systems.

The Role

Student Systems is one of four teams within Registry Services. As a Student Systems Officer you will play a key role in ensuring that our systems continue to meet the needs of staff and students alike. You will provide technical support and advice to users of our student systems, seeking out solutions to problems with innovation and efficiency.

You will also contribute to the further development and enhancement of our systems, bringing your experience of these – including SITS: Vision and the Student Information Desk – to assist with their development, testing, configuration, and integration with other systems.

Registry Services has an ambitious vision for the future of our student systems. Recent projects have focused on delivering e:Vision solutions for many different user groups, both to support the administration of the student journey and to leverage the data held within SITS to put it in the hands of those who need it.

Additionally, our use of the Student Information Desk is widespread, and as Student Systems Officer you will be vital in ensuring that this system continues to evolve.

You will be passionate about the potential of all these systems, bringing technical expertise and enthusiasm to work alongside a growing team of like-minded individuals. Your skills will enable you to contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes, delivered through a strong customer service oriented approach.

As a University, we have many strengths; amongst staff and students there is a sense of common purpose and commitment to the nature of higher education we offer. This is a fantastic opportunity to further improve our service and ensure practices are leading within our field.

When completing your application, please ensure you attach a copy of your CV and a Covering Letter. You are advised to remove personal details from these documents, including your name.
