Working under the guidance of Professor Andrew Fisher and Dr William Scott, you will provide technical support to research programmes in solid organ transplantation as part of the NIHR Blood and Transplant Research Unit. In particular you will support the development and application of ex-vivo organ perfusion techniques. You will be based in the Institute of Transplantation, Freeman Hospital and the Institute of Cellular Medicine.
You should have a degree in a relevant subject with experience working in either a research or clinical team. You should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be flexible as the work requires including out-of-hours and weekend work.
You should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised with good time management skills, and express a clear commitment to multidisciplinary and translational research.
This post is fixed term for 3 years.
