Based in Manchester
We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to lead and performance manage a team of 13 Educational Advisors (Guidance professionals) specialising in curriculum appropriate guidance relating to STEM and Access. You will work with the Senior Management Team of the SRSC to ensure the effectiveness of support for STEM and Access students.
You will have considerable experience of either providing Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to students or managing its provision as well as considerable experience of managing teams providing customer/student services to meet recognised standards.
You will possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to plan and organise workloads to ensure that objectives are met within resource constraints and have significant experience of leading, managing, training and developing staff within a performance management framework.
You will be a degree holder or equivalent qualification and have an NVQ4 in Advice & Guidance or equivalent.
