Detail information about job Schools and Colleges Administrator (National Collaborative Outreach Programme - Health and Social Care). Terms and conditions vacancy

Fixed-term for 12 months

The UK Recruitment Team plays a significant role in delivering the Sheffield Hallam Universities student recruitment strategy by providing aspiration and awareness raising events, activities and initiatives which support the institutions recruitment objectives.

This role has been created to provide quality, effective and customer focused school, college and community engagement activity, with a particular focus on Health and Social Care disciplines, enabling the University to fulfil its recruitment and widening participation responsibilities.

You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the Higher Education sector, and share a commitment to supporting the progression of under-represented groups in education. As a point of contact for schools, colleges and partner organisations (i.e NHS Trusts) you will be customer focused and organised to support the delivery of shared aims and objectives. The ability to work across teams to deliver shared objectives is key, as you will ensure consistency in administrative processes that support delivery and evaluation of activities.

You will possess excellent communication skills, with the confidence to speak to potentially large groups of pre-university students; and be equally comfortable liaising with staff from schools, colleges and partner organisations. Experience of working with and understanding data is essential, alongside knowledge of Microsoft Office dealing with both written and numerical information.

You will also be able and willing to work occasional evenings and able to independently travel around the country as required. NB: Employees will be provided hire cars to fulfill the requirements of the role which will require occasionally driving at night and motorways.

If you are offered this post you will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service. For non-EU applicants, we won't be able to provide a certificate of sponsorship / visa for this job.
