This permanent full-time position represents a chance to join and help shape a collaborative and growing teaching and research team in Sustainable and Renewable Energy, currently led by the Mark Dunajtschik Chair in Renewable Energy Systems - Prof Alan Brent.

This is an opportunity for you to share your passion for research and teaching with like-minded colleagues in a city and country known for academic excellence, lifestyle and peacefulness.

We are a University ranked in the top 2% world-wide in a vibrant capital city that was rated in 2017 as the world’s best city for quality of life. We are a School that is growing to meet the real-world needs of industry-academia both nationally and internationally.

Ideally you are a chartered Engineer or have experience in working alongside a Professional Engineering organization.

You will collaborate with staff from a wide range of disciplines to design and deliver technical engineering papers in both an undergraduate and postgraduate programme in renewable energy systems. You will also be able to enjoy working alongside both academic and professional colleagues to inspire the next generation of engineers, and apply your interpersonal skills to mentoring junior staff and postgraduate researchers.

Specific topics of interest in our programme include (but are not limited to) safely and reliably constructing renewable energy systems, from generation and transmission through to storage and usage.

The position will be appointed at Associate Professor or Professor depending on the seniority of the successful candidate.
