This is a three-year technician position funded by the BBSRC to support the structural and functional investigation on the consequences of Sam68 post-translational modifications on alternative splicing regulation.
In this role you will use a range of techniques in the fields of cell culture, protein expression and purification and Mass spectrometry. You will assist in the analysis of data collected and help to prepare the data for inclusion in publications and presentations.
The ideal candidate will have a scientific or technical education to NVQ level 3 and a relevant scientific degree would be highly desirable. You will have substantial experience in a technical role as well as experience of mammalian cell culture and protein purification.
